June Prototype Update


This is a small update to the prototype demo shipped a couple weeks ago. New additions include

Added Launcher functionality
The Icenine Launcher (weapon 3) didn't have any sounds, particles, or even a model attached to it.
Now its a grenade launcher that shoots ice projectiles. On impact with the ground, it creates an ice puddle that freezes enemies in place.



Added FPS viewmodels and FPS view tilt
There will be an option to toggle the view tilt off later down the line.
The view port does not scale properly and will break beyond the default resolution of 1024x768

Added Seeker ability
This is a homing missile. The tracking isn't too good at the moment. You can switch between Agility and Seeker in the pause menu.



Added Sprint function, hold Shift to increase speed
Some people were tired of constantly tapping shift to get a proper speed boost with the dashes. You can now hold shift for a speed boost.
This speed does stack with the dash, so a sprinting dash  jump can get you more distance.



Added new particle effects
Self explanatory.



Improved melee hit detection and damage
The way melee works is simple - Do you have a target (directly moused over them) and are they in range?
Previously, melee detection required constant direct eye contact with the enemy while they were in your melee box.
Now your melee target remains regardless of breaking eye contact, only dissipating when they're out of range.
Basically, melee combat is more consistent now.



Buffed Carbine attack speed and damage
The Carbine's firing rate made it feel weak in comparison to the other weapons. It now fires more like a fully auto weapon.



Remade world_speedrun_1
This map just sucked, so I remade it with proper objectives. It has two variations.
